Jibon Songi users can request permanent account deletion at any time. This page explains how account deletion works, what information may be deleted, what information may be retained for legal or security reasons, and how users can request deletion from inside the app or by email.
Please read this page carefully before deleting your account.
1. What Account Deletion Means
When you request permanent account deletion, your Jibon Songi account will be disabled and scheduled for deletion from our active system after successful verification and processing.
Once the deletion process is completed, you may lose access to your profile, login access, uploaded photos, profile details, search preferences, saved activity, subscription-related access if applicable, and other account-based features.
This action may not be reversible after completion.
2. Data That May Be Deleted
After your account deletion request is approved and processed, the following types of data may be deleted or anonymized from our active system:
- Your profile information
- Your name and account details
- Your email address and mobile number
- Your profile description and partner preferences
- Your uploaded profile photos and gallery images
- Your search and saved profile activity
- Your account settings and app preferences
- Your communication history if applicable
- Your support history linked to the account if allowed by law and policy
Deletion may happen immediately or within a reasonable processing period depending on verification and system requirements.
3. Data That May Be Retained
Certain limited information may be retained for a limited period even after account deletion if retention is necessary for:
- Legal compliance
- Fraud prevention
- Dispute resolution
- Security investigation
- Abuse prevention
- Transaction or subscription record keeping

4. How to Delete Your Account From the App
To request account deletion inside the app, follow these steps:
- Open the Jibon Songi app
- Go to Profile
- Open Settings or Legal & Compliance
- Tap Delete Account Permanently
- Read the warning message carefully
- Confirm the deletion request
After confirmation, the request may be reviewed and processed after identity verification.
